If you own a cat boat, you only get to buy one sail, so why not make it a great one?! That's what Michael Katz has done with his WylieCat 39. In this back lit photograph you can see the reinforcement which runs up the luff to carry large luff loads which are out of balance after just rounding a weather mark, having eased the mainsheet, but not yet eased the cunningham. There is also a reinforcement which runs the whole way up the leech, because we know that this will prolong the life of the sail.
